Las Brasas Custom Cooler

This is one for the books! Jim approached me with the idea of a large custom built refrigerator. At first I thought he was crazy but after some research I was amazed at the cost of a commercial fridge! This behemoth of a cooler is 8x8x8 and due to the cooling system stays at a consistent 35-40 degrees! I used 2x4 wall studs with R13 wool insulation and attached 2” rigid R13 foam insulation to the interior studs. And just for a little added structure I attached 7/16” plywood to ensure the room was air tight. Also the lights are motion activated and the entire cooling system is set up on WIFI so the customer will always know the temp on his app.
